I sit here bored today...
I have a couple of things I ought to be doing but I'll be damned if can get myself around to doing them...
So...I just veg about and poke friends, randomly annoying them and making them talk to me...with a certain degree of success.
The following are two results of the poking:
One of my friends just got a bonsai recently.
I asked her what it was? She said it's Elephant Foot. This plant is found mostly in Mexico.
She bought it in an IKEA store.
YES!
A Japanese concept, applied to Mexican fauna, in a Swedish store in the US of A!
Now *that's* globalization for you!
On another note - my friend mentioned that it's only for show. The bonsai link says those plants need plenty of care.
Already, the plant will feel unloved because it's "only for show" and despite being bored and where she should go take of the plant, my friend is sitting around talking to me...
I feel sorry for the poor thing...
Speaking of feeling sorry for poor things...(?)

Duckie and I have had a discussion on it...but perhaps I will wait for some responses first before I put it up.
