Hmm... I've been meaning to put these up here for a while now...
One of the rare and scary moments when Goat agrees with Rat!
Sometimes I feel I could be so coldly malevolent as Rat... or I wish I could be... but I think it's a good thing I'm not...
Still makes me chuckle and nod knowingly when I read this though...

Well, I'm not exactly worried about traumatic events but these days....I go to bed at about 4 or 5 am and wake up upwards of 12 pm...
People say it's the stress and worry of things getting delayed here.
Well...perhaps.
Stressing is not going to help those processes speed up any more than they are at the moment...
And I'm not worried about it...just a little annoyed but getting annoyed won't help either.
When I was little, my father used to tell me to shut off the factory in my head and go off to sleep. This used to work quite well when I was fidgety...the factory's taken a life of its own lately...
So many things to think...so many thoughts randomly wander in and out...
Yesterday, I finally wrote some stuff down...a lot of planning goes in in my head, late at night...the relevance might be lost by the next morning...Perhaps by writing it down, I can just get it out of my system and it will be a good reminder to start the process off the next day...
Oh well...I go to Pune tomorrow...for a week...
Wonder if that will help any.... I hope it does...
The other day...I went to bed at midnight...got up at 1pm...so it's not necessarily insomnia.
Blah!
Need to wake up on time tomorrow...catch a bus...sleep on it NO DOUBT...then go play.
Yay for playing!
Hope it happens tomorrow...

I'm most definitely with Andy, Pig's chained-up dog buddy here!
The rains are here...if pre-monsoon...they are here nonetheless...!
With the work in Mumbai going slowly, the heat wasn't helping my mood and temper...was generally grumpy and hot and sweaty but we have had three evenings of showers now.
It does get a little humid post showers but it's worth it...
Even if the sky is grey and overcast...it cools everything down...
Children can play in afternoons again.
The sound of raindrops and the rumble of thunder...
The feeling of the cool breeze and the cold raindrops...
The smell of the damp earth and then subsequent cooking aromas...bhaji, tea...just plain charcoal or wood!
Finally...eating those bhajis, drinking that tea...
Woo for rain!! :-D

Hehe...
Going to be a Pearls day today, it seems...I just logged on to get my regular fix of it on comics.com and this was up there.
There's a reason that I like this strip and also a reason that in certain circles, I'm known as Rat.
There's also a reason I like Stephan Pastis - the creator of Pearls - never having met him.
Other than his good wordplay, he says Rat is his evil alter ego.
Hehe...
