Update soon

I started writing a post for the blog last week but then I had to go out...
It's been saved as a draft but much of the verbosity there might be irrelevant now...

What will follow in a while will mostly be a check-list update of things I've been up to. Things, that is, other than reading, writing (papers), cooking, sleeping and household related work... Yeah... it's pretty interesting in that, life here isn't different than life back home... you just do more things around the house than you used to... and the people in your environment look different...
Boy does it make me mad! When people go about asking: How's life there??
I mean, I understand that they are curious to learn and hear about something they would not have experienced but I wish they'd ask more interesting or intelligent questions and actually give me some leads to talk on... as opposed to asking: what's up? (the ceiling? me? air? the neighbour?? -- what do you want??)

*sigh*
