Well, this post is scheduled to go up after I leave for the airport...

Just a note to say that the next post will be from the Land of the Free, the Brave, the Mighty and Super Sized!


Ordinarily, I am not one to go ga-ga over idols, in fact I'm pretty against the idea on principle... yet that doesn't preclude me from appreciating nice idols or pictures... done in a different way.

People offer prayers to Ganpati when starting on a new venture. The staff at SPM almost gave me an idol but I opted for a coupon... and as I was catching up with friends in Mumbai a couple days ago, I saw three very nice Ganpati idols... and a day later... a very nice painting...
So.. slightly tongue-in-cheek ... I put up the pictures as I prepare to leave on a new venture!
