So yeah... those three questions from yesterday....
When I went to the RTO, there was a doctor who needed to sign a medical form...
He commented that I was a simple person...
I thought this comment stemmed from my monosyllabic answers to the questions he asked.
However... he mentioned that his observation stemmed from my signature...
My dad suggested that I sign the way I do... when we first applied for my passport when I was 8!
Did my dad make me a simple person?
Is he one?
Is it a good thing?
How simple is too simple? Which simple is good?
Would you call me a simple person?
Is there a simple answer to this??
Once we got back from the RTO, Dad and I were discussing various people... his colleagues etc etc and it led to him saying that as a family, we were pretty content/satisfied with what we have and never really hanker for more.
It's a little hard for me to comprehend alternate viewpoints which are always looking for more...
Is it greed? Discontent? Ambition? Pathos??
Where does one file that?
Like I said, I'd rate myself as a 9 on the contentment list (out of 10) - where are you?
To recap the questions:
1. Would you say I'm a simple person? Qualify answer with reasons please.
2. What is your idea of contentment/satisfaction?
3. On an ascending scale from 0 to 10, rate your satisfaction/contentment with your current existence.
